An ambitious project filming 13 music videos back-to-back for artist Josiah Mann’s story concept album Grace.

Directing music videos all day today at @wstudiostn. 🎥🎬 I nearly drowned in all the water I had to drink to keep myself hydrated. 😁 More deets coming soon…

More music video work for @josiahmann today, this time we filmed at @grayboxnashville. I wanted bright shiny sunlight entering the room so I punched @aputure.lighting #aputure600d floods through the windows. Outside, the actual sun was doing a number on my lights so I wanted to take some of the heat off. Here you can see how I rigged a courtesy over a 600 that needed to work in direct sunlight. All @matthewsgrip gear, of course.

Day 3 of directing “Josiah Mann: Grace” today for @josiahmann, this time at @seventhstorystudio in Franklin and @landlfarm in Cedar Hill, TN. Got to direct the super fun and talented @madelynnemyers and @shandolorian in some beautiful scenes together.

Day 7 — that’s a wrap on filming “Josiah Mann: Grace” for @josiahmann at The Well Coffeehouse. What an ambitious indie project! I’m so thankful to Josiah and Ashley for trusting me with their vision, time, work, and property. I’m grateful for what is the beginning of this fantastic creative partnership, and the first of hopefully many future projects. 

Thanks also to the entire cast and crew, and the venues where we filmed, for helping make this project possible. I couldn’t have done any of this without all of you. Now on to post production!
