Mending was nominated for ten awards at the 2022 Nashville 48 Hour Film Project, including Best Score, Best Sound Design, Best Sound Mix, Memorable Moments, Best in Genre, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Film. The short film won Best Score, Best Screenplay, and Memorable Moments for Breaking the Stigma.
The film was entirely made within 48 hours for a contest.
