Director of Photography
I met writer/director Mattison Nicholson on the set of No Exit and was immediately impressed by her energy and leadership qualities. So when she asked me to be the director of photography on her short fan film, The 22nd Annual Hunger Games, I was happy to say yes.
Principle photography was spread across two weekends in the hills of Mt. Pleasant, TN with an entirely volunteer cast and crew. I filmed a great deal of the work handheld, utilizing sticks for one or two shots, but mostly for resting the camera which was a heavy rig comprised of my RED Komodo and anamorphic lenses, wireless FIZ and video transmission, and timecode boxes.
