Behind The Scenes
Filmed on location at Kenny Weldon’s World Class Boxing Gym in Pasadena, Texas. The gym was not complete at the time of the shoot and lacked electricity so the music was played back for the artists with a battery-operated boombox and the entire video was lit completely by sunlight bouncing into the facility through windows and a large loading door. The two actors portraying willpower and adversity are actually both prize-winning boxers trained by Kenny Weldon. Before shooting, the director sought inspiration by watching the film Raging Bull.
