Hannah and Eli, a couple who lost their jobs due to COVID-19, turn to drug trafficking to survive only to find themselves ensnared in a dangerous world they could never have imagined. Meanwhile, Nurse Evelyn caught taking pain pills from work, is coerced into becoming an informant to avoid prison. Each character battles personal demons and societal pressures while dodging unforgiving drug lords and seeking a path out of the death trap they are stuck in.
