STISD: “Why I Chose South Texas ISD”

Corporate Film (18:01)

Founded through legislation in 1964, from its humble beginnings as a single campus serving special needs students, South Texas Independent School District now celebrates over 50 years of providing top-notch education to the students of the Rio Grande Valley. Today, STISD has six campuses serving three counties, covering an area of 3,643 square miles and overlapping 28 other school districts. “Why I Chose South Texas ISD” is a short promotional film that asks students, faculty and staff across the magnet school district’s six campuses why they chose South Texas Independent School District.
