Established in 2005 as J. R. Johnston Photography, Impossible Films is a Texas-based professional film and video production house with a focus on high-concept television advertisements and long-form corporate promotion videos, documentaries, music videos and feature films.

It is the fruition of a career-long odyssey by American filmmaker Jason R. Johnston whose 15 years of professional field experience and artistic passion have brought him to the point of needing to create his own production house capable of high end, cinematic quality product outside the norm.

Based in Texas, Impossible Films serves the video and film production needs of businesses, individuals, studios and independent productions worldwide.

Owner Jason R. Johnston is a practical, award-winning artist with 15 years of professional experience as a television producer, director, freelance photographer, writer, camera operator, editor, graphic designer, music composer and independent filmmaker.

Credentials

Impossible Films has produced music videos for established artists such as Lil’ Flip, Sou’Briety and Street Sertified, as well as up-and-comers like Lone the Poet, L.V. the Latin Vessel, EJ Colbath and Reveille Boyz. Impossible Films has also had the pleasure of working with great independent directors such as Demetrius Navarro, Valente Rodriguez, Charlie Brenner and David Rice, among many others.
